Olivia Sandel is a first-year Master of Divinity student at Princeton Theological Seminary, seeking ordination in the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.). She hopes to become the Head Pastor of a church congregation upon graduation from Princeton.
Olivia grew up in the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.) and participated in all the church musical choirs because her mother was a Minister of Music. Last spring, Olivia graduated from Westminster Choir College Summa Cum Laude, and a Bachelor of Music degree in Sacred Music and Voice. She is excited to begin her field education experience and is extremely grateful to Rev. Hughes and Old Tennent Presbyterian Church for being willing to walk with her on her journey to becoming an ordained Minister. Olivia loves to sing, do Pilates, and her pet cat Sunshine. |

Sara Jane Nixon Seminary intern 2017-2018 2018-2019 |
Our seminary Intern for the 2017-2018 and again for 2018-2019 school years was Sara Jane Nixon! She was a student at Princeton Seminary and a graduate of Davidson College in North Carolina (a great Presbyterian related College!!). She is now a third generation Presbyterian Pastor following her father and grandfather.
Rev. Sara Jane Nixon is now the pastor at the New Dublin Presbyterian Church in Dublin, Virginia. We miss her terribly but are happy she has found her new home and ministry. |
